Dear Kansas Choral Directors,
I’m looking forward to seeing you at the KMEA In Service Workshop this week. Please stop by the KCDA booth to say “Hi!” While you’re there, you can buy a ticket for the KCDA Luncheon on Friday, register at a special early bird rate for the KCDA Summer Convention, submit your students’ audition materials for the 2013 All-State Women’s Choir, and renew your ACDA membership.
Also, be sure to attend the KCDA Reading Session at 8:00 am Friday in the Service Club and don’t miss the many wonderful choral concerts, including the KCDA Treble Honor Choir, conducted by Rollo Dilworth.
Finally, I want to forward this message from KMEA President Craig Manteuffel:
Good Morning KMEA Members,
The weather forecast is a bit discouraging for this week, BUT the KMEA In-Service Workshop is never cancelled or postponed!
My suggestion to everyone involved including teachers, All-State members, clinicians, etc. is to follow @ksmea via Twitter using your smart phone or computer. Please forward this email to your students and parents that are involved this week!
Troy Johnson, KMEA webmaster will tweet important updates throughout the week and you can stay informed by clicking on https://twitter.com/ksmea or on the KMEA home page (http://www.ksmea.org). Look for the box that reads “KMEA Twitter Updates” for the latest information. The most important thing, always BE SAFE!!!
Thank you and I will see you all in Wichita,
Craig
