Accompanist Openings

F.L. Schlagle High School (Kansas City) is seeking an accompanist to begin in the 2014-2015 school year.  Applicants should have excellent keyboard skills and experience working with children or in a school setting. To view a complete job description or to apply, click here.

Wichita Northwest High School is also seeking an accompanist. The position is approximately 15 hours per week, and they are looking for energetic, talented pianists who are comfortable with sectionals and will love high school singers. Convention Schedule and Registration Deadline

The 2014 Summer Convention begins in THREE DAYS!


If you have not already registered, online registration will close TONIGHT at 11:59pm.  On-site registration will open at 7:30 Thursday morning in the Grand Ballroom.


The Convention booklet and schedule At-A-Glance are available for viewing or printing on the Summer Convention page of the website.  You may also download the schedule to your phone using the Guidebook app by following these instructions:

• Download 'Guidebook' from the Apple App Store or the Android Marketplace
• From the Guidebook application, tap "Download Guides" then "Redeem Code".                                                                
• Enter the code "kcda2014" and the guide will download to your device.

Convention Countdown: 3 Weeks!

It's hard to believe that the Summer Convention is only three weeks away.  If you haven't already registered, it's not too late. Follow these links to register or read about this year's convention.

If you have not yet booked your hotel, the Ramada is full.  Overflow guest rooms are available at the Senate Luxury Suites (901 SW Tyler, Topeka, KS).  The room rate is $83 per night plus tax and includes full hot breakfast buffet.  Reservations will be accepted at the group rate until June 30.  To make reservations, please contact Senate Suites at 785.233.5050 and mention KCDA.
